A Hiring Channel Built for the Field
ACROSS THE UNITED STATES — there are 132,307 BCBA jobs that need filling and only 83,586 board-certified behavior analysts (BCBAs) available to fill them, according to the Behavior Analyst Certification Board. A growing number of ABA practices and job seekers are finding each other on a free, industry-specific platform that did not exist a few years ago.
Free ABA Job Listings, at freeabajoblistings.com, was flooding with hundreds of job listings upon launch covering thousands of inquiries regarding BCBA, RBT, BCaBA, behavior therapist, and clinical-director roles. Posting is free for employers, searching and applying are free for candidates, and every listing is filtered by ABA-specific role categories rather than mixed into a wider healthcare or social-services pool.
New jobs land on the site most weekdays. Salary ranges appear right on the listing card. An “Easy Apply” button sits next to every role. A daily or weekly email digest delivers fresh openings to subscribers who want to be alerted to new BCBA, RBT, or clinical-leadership listings without rechecking the site.
The result is a steady stream of jobs and applicants flowing through a single, ABA-focused channel.
For ABA practices and credentialed clinicians, the most efficient path between a posting and a hire turns out to be a board built for nothing else.
Built for ABA, From the Ground Up
The platform organizes openings by the role categories that actually exist in the field. Board-certified behavior analyst (BCBA) is the largest category, with 336 active postings as of April 2026. Registered behavior technician (RBT) follows with 91. Behavior therapist (BT), a common entry-point title, holds 64. Board-certified assistant behavior analyst (BCaBA) shows 19. Clinical supervisor, clinical director, program manager, speech-language pathologist, and general manager round out the categories.
Every category page lets candidates filter by full-time, part-time, or remote, and by state or city. A practice owner in Sioux Falls or Edison or Tigard can post an opening once, in the right category, and have the listing surface to candidates already searching the platform for that exact role.
That structural fit is what general job platforms cannot replicate at scale. A BCBA opening posted on a generalist site competes for visibility with thousands of unrelated nursing, social-work, and counseling roles. Applicants who reach the practice through general sites often do not hold the BACB credential the role requires. The mismatch costs both sides time.
Free ABA Job Listings removes that friction by accepting only ABA-aligned roles and connecting them with a candidate community already inside the field.
Free Where Other Platforms Aren’t
Cost is the second piece of the platform’s appeal, especially for the small and mid-size practices that make up most of the U.S. ABA provider base.
General platforms have grown more expensive in 2025 and 2026. Indeed enforces a $25 minimum per sponsored job and a $5-per-day floor, with cost-per-click rates that can run several dollars per visit in metro markets. LinkedIn promoted postings start at $7 to $10 per day, and the platform’s free tier is capped at one open posting at a time. ZipRecruiter charges $399 to $899 per job per month depending on tier. Outside recruiters typically take 15 to 30 percent of first-year salary on a placement.
For a clinic running parallel BCBA, RBT, and clinical-director searches, that math adds up quickly. A free, ABA-only board with comparable reach in the field changes the calculation.
The platform charges nothing on the candidate side either. There are no premium tiers, no resume-database paywalls, no fees to apply.
Free posting plus free applying is a rare combination. In ABA, where practice margins and clinician salaries are both under pressure, it is showing up at exactly the right time.
Who’s Using It

The platform’s featured-companies page reads like a snapshot of who is actively hiring across U.S. ABA in spring 2026. Stride Autism Centers carries eight active postings spread across Iowa and South Dakota, including BCBA, RBT, clinic-director, and director-of-clinical-operations roles. Dallas Healthcare Consultants lists 54 open positions, including BCBA program-director roles in New Jersey and Tennessee. National Therapy Center is hiring BCBAs and RBTs across Maryland and Washington, D.C., with hourly rates topping $115. IMPACT, Spark Center for Autism, OneWell Health Care, Autism Therapy Services, Spectra Gymnastics, Journeys ABA, and Autism Support Now also appear in featured slots.
Active listings span California, Texas, Iowa, Maryland, New Jersey, Michigan, Wisconsin, Tennessee, Oregon, and other states. Salary ranges in current postings run from $18.50 per hour for entry-level RBT roles to $120 per hour for BCBA contract work.
The candidate side is where the platform’s reach gets harder to see and easier to feel. A BCBA who spent nearly a year searching told BreakingNewsABA she found her current full-time clinic role through Free ABA Job Listings after paid platforms produced no offers across that period. She asked not to be named.
Her story is the kind of outcome the platform was built to produce. A credentialed BCBA matched with a clinic that needed her, with no recruiter commission, no LinkedIn premium subscription, and no months of paid-platform applications that went nowhere.
Where the Platform Goes Next
Demand for BCBAs and RBTs is not slowing. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics projects 17 percent employment growth in behavioral-health roles through 2034, roughly five times the national average. The BACB / Lightcast 2026 report puts 2025 BCBA postings 28 percent above 2024. Almost half of U.S. counties still have no active BCBA at all.
That backdrop favors hiring channels that meet the field where it is. Free ABA Job Listings is doing exactly that. New employer pages are added regularly. New role categories are added as they emerge. The email-digest feature delivers fresh BCBA, RBT, and clinical-leadership listings to subscriber inboxes daily or weekly, depending on preference.
For employers, the post-a-job page accepts new openings without ad budgets, registration walls, or per-click bidding. For candidates, the search and apply functions are open without a paywall and without a premium tier.
The platform is at freeabajoblistings.com. Posting is free. Applying is free.
