Raven Health Launches AI-Powered Revenue Cycle Management Platform for ABA Providers

The new RCM platform connects clinical care, automated billing, exception management, and real-time revenue intelligence in one easy-to-use system.

NEW YORK – Raven Health, the leading all-in-one software solution for Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) providers, today announced the launch of its next-generation Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) platform. The platform supports ABA organizations that utilize self-billing internally as well as those using Raven’s automated billing services. It prevents avoidable claim issues, and gives ABA organizations visibility into their revenue from the moment care is documented through final payment.

For ABA organizations, getting a claim approved is only part of the challenge. Claims may require additional information, correction, or follow-up before the provider receives the full amount owed. Each added touch consumes time, delays cash flow, and increases the cost of collection. For organizations operating on narrow margins, seemingly small differences in collection rates and payment speed can have an outsized effect on financial performance.

Raven addresses that challenge by connecting the clinical and financial sides of an ABA organization and automating more of the work required to turn delivered care into collected revenue. Most of that billing data already exists somewhere, usually scattered across clearinghouses, but getting a clear picture of performance out of it means piecing the story together across platforms. Raven brings it into one place instead: a simple report card on revenue health that shows providers exactly where a claim is stalling, so they can fix the underlying issue instead of just working around it. Many Raven customers have achieved collection rates above 99% and payment in as little as one week, results that are hard to find in software that also runs the clinical side of a practice.

“ABA providers shouldn’t need a massive back-office team or a collection of disconnected systems to get paid accurately and on time,” said Richard Wagner, CEO and Co-founder of Raven Health. “We’re giving organizations of every size access to sophisticated revenue-cycle capabilities that historically required deep budgets, specialized expertise, and large administrative teams, without sacrificing the ease of use that Raven is known for.”

How Raven’s RCM Works

Billing begins with the source data captured during care. Raven’s RCM platform is built directly into its clinical and practice management software, not a bolt-on system stitched together after the fact.

Raven automatically creates claims using information from the session and corresponding clinical note before a biller reviews them. Relevant billing details, including applicable modifiers and other claim elements, populate automatically from the outset, reducing re-entry and the errors that arise when information moves between systems.

Raven’s revenue integrity engine then evaluates claims against configurable business and payer rules to identify missing or potentially incorrect information before submission. Clean claims move forward with fewer manual touches, including automatic submission for supported payers, while exceptions surface for review.

Once a claim is submitted, Raven connects its status, payer responses, and payment information in one workflow. Whoever handles billing sees what is still owed, what has been paid, what needs attention, and where revenue is getting stuck.

“Raven’s RCM capabilities and billing team have significantly improved Centric ABA’s day-to-day operations, helping our company achieve a 0% denial rate for claims submitted within each 30-day calendar month.” – Bailey Volker, Co-Owner & Operations Manager, Centric ABA (2026)

Key capabilities include:

  • Automatic claim creation from clinical data, connecting sessions and notes directly to billing workflows.
  • Revenue integrity and payer-specific rules that help identify potential problems before they cause rework, denials, or delayed payment.
  • Automated claim submission for supported payers, moving eligible clean claims forward without unnecessary intervention.
  • AI-assisted revenue operations that surface anomalies, organize exceptions, and help teams prioritize the claims most likely to benefit from human attention.
  • Integrated claim and payment visibility, including ERA/835 processing, Raven’s RCM Dashboard, and Claims Ledger.

Keeping Pace with Growing Claim Complexity

Raven designed its RCM platform around the specific operational and reimbursement complexities of ABA. This becomes increasingly important as providers grow. Organizations reaching dozens or hundreds of clients face greater claim volume, payer variation, authorization requirements, and documentation complexity without wanting administrative headcount to grow at the same pace.

The RCM launch advances Raven’s broader vision of making ABA organizations easier to operate and scale. Clinical care, practice management, and revenue no longer need to live in separate systems connected by spreadsheets, manual handoffs, and repeated data entry.

“Getting paid should be the predictable result of delivering and documenting care, not a separate operational battle,” Wagner said. “By connecting the entire workflow and applying automation and AI where they can produce measurable value, Raven helps providers protect revenue, reduce administrative burden, and direct more of their resources toward the people they serve.”
