The Asociación Puertorriqueña de Análisis Conductual Aplicado (PRABA), also known as the Puerto Rico Association for Behavior Analysis, will hold its third conference, Puerto Rico ABA 2027, on March 20–21, 2027, at the Colegio de Agrónomos de Puerto Rico in San Juan. The bilingual Spanish-English meeting can be attended in person or by livestream, though all presenters must appear on site.
The program is being built from a call for abstracts that closed October 18, 2026, after an extension; posters are accepted until December 18, 2026. Formats include individual talks, panels, symposia and workshops, with 50-minute presentations carrying one CEU, and some sessions will offer English or Spanish translation. Spanish-speaking presenters were given priority. In-person full-conference registration is $200 for members and $250 for non-members, with single-day passes and lower no-CEU rates for students, behavior technicians, parents and self-advocates. PRABA does not issue refunds but will convert in-person registrations to virtual.
PRABA became an ABAI affiliated chapter in July 2022, the same month it held its first conference. Its second conference, held in October 2024 at the University of Puerto Rico, drew 158 in-person and 14 virtual attendees. Expanding access to behavior-analytic information in Spanish is central to the association’s mission, alongside policy work on licensure and insurance coverage for ABA services on the island.
