Nashoba Learning Group and the Profound Autism Alliance will hold the 2027 Profound Autism Summit on April 15–16, 2027, at the Hilton Boston Park Plaza in Boston. The two-day conference is built around a single population, autistic people with significant intellectual and communication challenges who need around-the-clock support, and draws clinicians, educators, administrators, researchers, direct support professionals and families.
The summit’s program brings together speakers from research, medicine, education, advocacy and service delivery, under the tagline Sparking Collaboration, Advancing Treatment. The 2027 speaker lineup and pricing had not been posted as of October 2026. The organizers offer single-day attendance and virtual options, and the Profound Autism Alliance provides a limited number of scholarships. Sessions from the 2026 summit were recorded and sold on demand through BehaviorLive and the organizers’ Profound Village online community.
Nashoba Learning Group, a nonprofit school and adult day program founded in 2002, created the summit with the Profound Autism Alliance in 2023. The event builds on the term profound autism proposed by the Lancet Commission in 2021, and it has become a gathering point for behavior analysts and providers serving clients with the highest support needs.
