Workshops include a three-hour ethics session by Dr. Theresa Fiani on the Practical Functional Assessment and Skill-Based Treatment approach to problem behavior, and a supervision workshop on leadership and management practices led by Shane Isley with Jeff Gesick. Conference speakers include Tom Zane on evidence-based practice and scientific decision making, Erica Feuerbacher on human-animal interaction research, Ruth Colwill on habituation, Mark Malady on handling criticism and John Guercio on assessing adult core competencies, among others. The event offers 3 ethics, 3 supervision and 10 general BACB CEUs. Full-member in-person registration is $160 and the non-member rate is $350, with lower tiers for students, RBTs and affiliate members and a 10 percent discount for groups of five or more.

NABA is Nevada’s professional association for behavior analysis, with membership categories for full, sustaining and affiliate members, RBTs and students. Its annual conference is the organization’s principal statewide gathering, combining clinical, ethics and organizational topics for the state’s behavior analysts and the provider organizations that employ them.
