Help Group, a Los Angeles-area nonprofit, will hold its 30th annual Summit on Friday, October 16, 2026, at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles. The one-day program runs from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and is aimed at clinicians, educators, parents and caregivers interested in neurodiversity and mental health, with sessions offered live in person and afterward on demand.
The 2026 theme is Limitless. Keynotes come from Dr. Ross Greene, originator of the Collaborative & Proactive Solutions model; psychologist and mindfulness author Dr. Elisha Goldstein; and Kristin Gallant and Deena Margolin, LMFT, founders of Big Little Feelings, joined by 12 additional speakers. Professional registration includes up to six live sessions on the day and recordings of all 15 sessions through January 31, 2027, with up to 18.5 continuing education credits for psychologists, LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs, LEPs, speech-language pathologists and occupational therapists; BACB credits are not listed. Autism advocate Michelle Smigel will receive the 2026 Spirit of Hope Award.
Help Group has served people with autism, learning differences, ADHD, developmental disabilities and mental health needs for more than 85 years through specialized education and lifelong support services. Although the Summit is not geared to BACB certificants, its focus on behavior, emotional development and transitions to independence overlaps with the populations and families served by ABA providers in Southern California.
