The Maryland Association for Behavior Analysis (MABA) will hold its 29th Annual Conference and Workshops on December 10–11, 2026, at the Hyatt Regency Inner Harbor in Baltimore. The meeting is offered in person and through Behavior Live’s virtual platform, and in-person/hybrid registrants keep access to sessions for 60 days afterward.
Thursday, December 10, features two workshops: Maria Valdovinos on evaluating psychotropic medication effects on challenging behavior, and Adam Ventura on using AI to connect research and practice. New this year are a BCBAs in Schools panel hosted by Ivymount School, a luncheon for MABA’s legislation and advocacy special interest group, and a free, in-person Practitioner Invited Series capped at 50 attendees. Friday’s featured speakers are Dorothea Lerman, Judah Axe, Malika Pritchett, Amy Gravino and Emily Sullivan. BACB and APA continuing education credits are available, with BACB CEs tracked through the Behavior Live app; registration is priced by membership category, and attendees taking both workshops receive 15% off.
MABA is an affiliate of the Association for Behavior Analysis International and works to promote behavior analysis within Maryland, including through legislative advocacy. The December meeting gives Maryland practitioners a single venue for continuing education, school-based practice discussion and state policy updates.
