The Behavior Analysis Association of Michigan (BAAM) will hold its 2027 convention February 25–26, 2027, at the Student Center on the campus of Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, Michigan.
A call for papers is open through December 4, 2026, accepting papers, posters, symposia, workshops, panel discussions, displays and meetings on basic research, application, conceptual analysis and professional development. Speakers and the program had not been announced as of October 2026. BAAM conventions generally open with a keynote by an invited scholar, followed by breakout sessions and a closing poster session and social gathering, with fee-based workshops offered separately. The association provides continuing education, including BACB Type II CEUs, depending on session eligibility. Its general guidance estimates registration at about $120 for both days for regular members and $60 for students, though 2027 fees had not been confirmed.
BAAM is a state affiliate of the Association for Behavior Analysis International and is sponsored by the Eastern Michigan University Psychology Department. Its convention brings together university researchers and Michigan practitioners, and the association recently formed a Professional Behavior Analyst special interest group focused on insurance, licensure and funding issues affecting autism practitioners in the state.
