The Association for Positive Behavior Support (APBS) will hold its 24th International Conference on Positive Behavior Support on April 21–24, 2027, at the Manchester Grand Hyatt on the San Diego Bay waterfront. The conference, which draws an estimated 1,500 or more attendees, brings together practitioners, researchers, educators, families and self-advocates working in positive behavior support.

The 2027 theme is Restore, Reconnect, Reimagine. Pre-conference sessions run April 21–22, followed by main sessions April 23–24. Program strands range from schoolwide Tier 1 and classroom systems and advanced Tier 2 and 3 supports to early childhood, PBS in IDD community settings, and family and home supports, with new strands on belonging and dignity, international PBS and local implementers. New formats include connection sessions and an implementer showcase. Proposals were due October 2, 2026; a draft agenda is expected in mid-December, presenters must register by January 15, 2027, and general registration details have not yet been posted.

APBS presents itself as a professional home for people committed to using PBS to improve lives. Its conference sits where school-based PBIS meets applied behavior analysis, drawing attendees whose work spans classrooms, community programs and clinical services.
