The Association for Behavior Analysis International (ABAI) will hold its 53rd Annual Convention May 28–31, 2027, in New Orleans, with sessions at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center and the Hilton New Orleans Riverside, the headquarters hotel. Pre-convention workshops are set for Friday, May 28, and the convention itself runs Saturday, May 29, through Monday, May 31. It is the field’s largest annual meeting, typically drawing an estimated 5,000-plus researchers, practitioners and students.
ABAI has begun posting its invited presenter roster, which lists about 30 speakers so far, among them Wayne Fisher of Rutgers University, Nancy Neef of The Ohio State University, Karola Dillenburger of Queen’s University Belfast, Alycia Halladay of the Autism Science Foundation and Mariel Fernandez of the Council of Autism Service Providers. Workshops carry a fee separate from convention registration, and continuing education is offered for BACB, APA, NASP, QABA and IBAO credentials. The convention site also hosts the call for submissions, poster guidelines, hotel booking and the exhibitor floor plan.
ABAI, headquartered in Portage, Michigan, presents itself as a home for the science and practice of behavior analysis, and its annual convention spans basic research, applied work, theory and professional issues. For ABA providers, universities and training programs, it is also a major networking and exhibiting venue.
