The Association for Behavior Analysis International (ABAI) will hold its 21st Annual Autism Conference on March 23–25, 2027, at the Hyatt Regency Austin in Austin, Texas. The hybrid event, held in person with a livestream, is expected to draw around 1,000 behavior analysts, researchers and practitioners.

This year’s theme is Bridging Research, Practice, and Lived Experience in Autism. ABAI has named 15 invited presenters, among them Matthew Brodhead, Sarah Frampton, Peter Gerhardt, Amy Gravino, Alycia Halladay, Joel Ringdahl, Nicole Rodriguez and Amber Valentino, along with Kimberly Kennedy and Annie Weber of the Office of Inspector General’s Office of Audit Services. Two pre-conference workshops are offered at $95 each or $165 for both and will not be streamed or recorded. Full in-person registration covers two days of sessions, exhibits and special events plus livestream and six months of select on-demand video. Continuing education credit is purchased separately and tracked through the ABAI Events app. Poster submissions closed September 30, 2026.

ABAI, the international membership organization for the field, runs a series of specialty conferences in addition to its annual convention. The autism conference addresses the population most served by ABA providers, and its 2027 lineup spans academic researchers, clinical leaders and federal auditors, touching on both practice and compliance.
