Chrissy is the Chief Clinical Officer of Bierman Autism Centers and a guest contributor to Breaking News ABA. A doctoral-level Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA-D), she has worked in developmental disabilities since 2005, including as a special educator, a school consultant, and a home-based ABA clinician. She joined Bierman in 2013 as a behavior analyst and rose through its clinical leadership to oversee clinical operations across more than 30 centers in seven states. Her research focuses on early language development and on how staff training affects children's progress. That includes a study she led, published in Behavior Analysis in Practice, on training therapists to deliver more teaching opportunities during sessions. Chrissy holds a bachelor's degree from Northeastern University, a master's from Columbia University, and a Ph.D. in Behavior Analysis from Simmons University, where she teaches master's-level courses as adjunct faculty. Outside of work, she enjoys the outdoors, live music, and time with her family.
