Is there a Supervisor in the house?

So technically I’m supposed to get regular supervision. In reality… sometimes it’s 20 minutes of “How’s it going?” while my supervisor answers emails. Or they observe one trial and say “Looks good.” Does it though?? I want feedback.Real feedback pleeaasee. Not just signatures for compliance.. And then when something goes wrong, suddenly it’s “Well why didn’t you implement the plan correctly?”
Maybe because I had 14 minutes of supervision this month?? I’m not trying to throw anyone under the bus. I know supervisors are overloaded, But if we’re going to hold the therapists accountable, we also need meaningful supervision. I don’t want to feel like I’m guessing. I don’t want to feel like I’m alone in a living room making clinical decisions I’m not technically supposed to make. Either supervise consistently… or don’t be shocked when implementation isn’t perfect. Sincerely, your undersupervised tech. Pease out.
