Why Can’t I Just Change It? Well… I am going to!

Sometimes I think the programs are dumb. Like if I’m running a target and it feels pointless, I should just be able to scrap it. Why do I have to wait for my supervisor to “approve” changes?? If I see my kiddo is bored, I’ll just switch it up. I don’t need a whole protocol for that. And if I think the reinforcement schedule is not good, I’ll adjust it. I know the client better anyway. I’m there every day. It feels overly bureaucratic to have to document every little modification. We’re in the room and we see what works. Honestly sometimes I think the certification hierarchy slows things down. Just sayin’ If something isn’t working, I’ll just fix it. That’s efficient. Right?
